Jenna Fischer's most well-known role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly loved TV show The Office. The actress won two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on the comedy's ensemble.
In Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was awed by her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was younger, which instilled a love for theater and performing.
Fischer is an actor with theater training. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy. Then, she starred in Steve Martin's new production Meteor Shower. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in January 2021.
She is the author of two books. The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide In it, she recounts her experience through St. Louis to Hollywood to become a working actress, and the forthcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office From Two of the Best Friends That Were There (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) The book is the story of their greatest relationship and their time in The Office.
