Richard B. Cheney, prominent public servant and a businessman is vice president. Cheney has become a regular face on the Washington political landscape and has been under various U.S. presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush. He will serve as the fourth president and will be an elected representative. Bush nominated Cheney to be his vice president run-off partner in July 2001. Bush cited Cheney's wisdom as well as his judgment and expertise. Dick Cheney served as the chief of staff for a president, served as an elected congressman Congress and was secretary of defence. Both Republicans and Democrats respect him for his honesty. Cheney believes that his job in his position in the Bush Administration is to act as an open and discrete adviser. Cheney expressed his excitement at taking the Republican vice-presidential nod. Cheney said the future is bright for him working with a leader who can collaborate with those who have different political views and with common objectives. Richard Bruce Cheney born Jan 30th, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska, the son Richard Herbert Cheney the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. At 13 years old, he left the state of Nebraska. old, he relocated together with family members into Casper located in western part of Wyoming and his father directed the district for soil conservation in Casper to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
